Canadian Border Collie Association
The CBCA establishes and maintains the breed standard and registry of purebred border collies in Canada.
American Border Collie Association
The ABCA exists to register, maintain and verify the pedigrees of Border Collies, to promote and foster in North America the breeding, training and distribution of reliable working Border Collies, and to promote stockdog trials and exhibitions.
US Border Collie Handlers Association
The United States Border Collie Handler’s Association, Inc. (USBCHA) is the sanctioning body for sheep and cattledog trials trials throughout the United States and Canada since 1979

Canadian Cattle Dog Association
The CCDA is a non-profit association that promotes proper cattle handling with the use of stock dogs. The mission is to bring knowledge to stockmen about the benefits of using trained stock dogs to handle their cattle by supporting stock dog breeding, training and development with clinics and sanctioned trials for the betterment of both dogs and handlers.
The ASDA sanctions trials throughout Alberta each year and promotes clinics as a key step in developing your dog.
Saskatchewan Stock Dog Association
The SSDA promotes the proper training of stock dogs, their humane handling and is dedicated to the welfare of both dogs and livestock thru education, trials, clinics, demonstrations, and advertising.
Western Canadian Sheepdog Finals
Since 1979, the Western Canadian Sheepdog Trial is a competition hosted by one of the four prairie provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
National Cattledog Association
Founded in 2011, the NCA is a non-profit that represents Canada and USA ranchers, cattledog handlers, and cattledog breeders.
The NCA mission is to educate ranchers as to the value of well trained cattledogs for humane, low stress cattle handling through demonstrations, clinics, and public cattledog competitions (trials).

The North East Border Collie Association is a non profit club supporting the breeding, training, farm use and trialing of working border collies. The NEBCA region consists of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime Provinces of Canada. NEBCA sanctions trials in these areas and promotes training opportunities.
